The system is always divided into two canvases, so a 4-metre opening will require two 2-metre canvases. The system will always use a centre bar drive, controlled by a motor in rail. For large openings, the system comes with 1.5 inch tubular storm brackets, often used for freely supported spans that allow traffic underneath. An inner support is optional.
